Alaska Oversize Permits Duration

Alaska oversize permits are initially valid for three days, with the option to extend for additional time due to distance or weather-related concerns.

Operating Time

Travel is allowed only during daylight hours, specifically from half an hour before sunset to half an hour after sunset, Monday through Saturday. Vehicles measuring 10 feet in width, up to 16 feet in height, and 85 feet in length are permitted to travel at any time. Sunday travel is not allowed.
